There are many activities to do in our surroundings that are popular among tourists like zip-lining or coffee tours and night walks. But we are really proud to invite you into a different perspective, and really exploring the local life of Costa Rica, mostly the town and community of San Luis.

Massages at our salon

  • We have a wellness room at Finca Aquarius where you can cultivate body and spirit. Treatments are done with natural oils and active disciplines to revitalize. Our in house certified massage therapist Connie provides the following massages

Horseback riding through our valley

  • Our neighbor Arturo would love to take you on a private 90 minute horseback excursion through our valley and up into the mountains.

  • The minimum number of participants is 2 and the maximum is 6 persons.

  • Our guests love to join Jan in the kitchen in the preparation of all things homemade.

Rural Cow Milking Experience

  • Book a one hour tour and milking experience at our neighbors dairy farm. From their raw milk we make all our yogurt, custard, butter and more from at Finca Aquarius.

Authentic Sugarcane Juice Experience

  • From harvesting the sugarcane, cleaning it, splitting it, rinsing it and then feeding it through the juicer, join our neighbor Elisa in her passion for a 60 minutes authentic and delicious process.

Private Hiking Tour

  • Other neighbor Lelo is known to guide amazing hikes in the area. We highly recommend to do this if you like exploring outside the beaten paths. Choose between 2 or 4 hours.

Natural Cosmetics Workshop

  • In the pueblo of San Luis where Finca Aquarius is located, there is a producer of organic soap and cosmetic products. They love to receive you and explain and show to you how they make their own products from organic natural ingredients. Takes about 60 minutes.

Bird spotting Tour

  • Down the street we have Kai who is passionate about bird watching and photography. He has all the knowledge about the birds you will see from your apartment at Finca Aquarius and can spoil you for a nice informative spotting tour in the valley. Takes 90 minutes.
